I have always been a creator and for as long as I can remember I wanted to be a fashion designer. Things shifted for me in high school when my love for drawing became an obsession. I went to art school (twice!) and finished with a Masters in Painting and Sculpture from Parsons School of Design. After graduating, my focus became sculpture but I was still curious and obsessed with fashion. 

On a whim, I helped a friend screen print posters for her boyfriend's punk band while also working on a single t-shirt design for a themed art show. The process of screen printing took a hold on me and there was a ton of interest in my t-shirt design. This was in 2009 and I haven't looked back. I started screen printing t-shirts and slinging them from my backpack outside bars in Brooklyn. It was fun to sell my 'art' to people from all walks of life. That was really it for me. I decided to design a little collection and do a tour of craft fairs from Brooklyn, to Los Angeles. Shortly after I started our online shop and the rest is history!⁠ ⁠ 

We used to do a lot childswear back in the day, when my 3 boys could fit into it! They've always been a part big part of this business. Whether it be modeling or contributing their drawing abilties to help with designs, they've grown up alongside T&B. My husband helps with screen printing and we have great staff who help with our entire process. From starting up our business out of our garage to relocating to Canada, this business has seen a lot and come a long way.
